Simple, I just did it onto my new mac 3 weeks ago…..After you transfer the stuff over to your new computer, click the store menu and from that drop-down menu you will need to click on Authorize this computer and your done! You can Authorize up to 5 computers per itunes library
All you need to do is authorize your new computer (at your option you can de-authorize your other computer, but Apple allows you to have several computers authorized for a single iPod). Once you have authorized it (done through the iTunes “Store” menu), that computer can now be used as your primary charging and synchronizing connection.
Plug in your Ipod
Open Itunes
Click where it says Store towards the top of the screen
Hit Authorize computer
and walla. You’re done.
