How do I make my new mac my main mac for my ipod?

Serious help!
I have a macbook and I just bought a new macbook pro!

Now I have a classic ipod and I already transferred all my music from one computer to another. BUT how do I make the new mac be my main computer for my ipod. I want to be able to download songs on the new one and sync them to my ipod from the new one. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Simple, I just did it onto my new mac 3 weeks ago…..After you transfer the stuff over to your new computer, click the store menu and from that drop-down menu you will need to click on Authorize this computer and your done! You can Authorize up to 5 computers per itunes library :)

    All you need to do is authorize your new computer (at your option you can de-authorize your other computer, but Apple allows you to have several computers authorized for a single iPod). Once you have authorized it (done through the iTunes “Store” menu), that computer can now be used as your primary charging and synchronizing connection.

    Plug in your Ipod
    Open Itunes
    Click where it says Store towards the top of the screen
    Hit Authorize computer
    and walla. You’re done. :)
